National Road Safety Olympiad Terms and Conditions

  1. Eligibility:
    • Participation is open to students from grades 1-8 who are enrolled in schools participating in the National Road Safety Mission for Kids and Youth.
    • Eligibility to participate in the Olympiad requires completion of the designated road safety learning course by June 10, 2024.
    • Participating in Olympiad is NOT Mandatory/ Compulsory for Students registered in National Road Safety Mission.
  1. Registration:
    • Students must register for National Road Safety Mission for Kids and Youth before registering for the National Road Safety Olympiad.
    • The Olympiad is a paid event, with details on fees and payment procedures provided upon registration.
  1. Conduct:
    • Participants are expected to conduct themselves with integrity and honesty during the Olympiad, with no tolerance for cheating or any form of misconduct.
    • Respectful behavior towards fellow participants and Olympiad organizers is mandatory.
  1. Participation:
    • The Olympiad will be conducted online, requiring participants to ensure access to reliable internet and a compatible device.
    • Login credentials and instructions for accessing the Olympiad platform will be provided in advance.
  1. Data Use:
    • Personal data collected will be used according to the National Road Safety Mission’s Privacy Policy, solely for the administration of the Olympiad and related communications.
  1. Intellectual Property:
    • All Olympiad materials are property of the National Road Safety Mission and are protected by copyright laws. Unauthorized use of these materials is prohibited.
  1. Awards and Recognition:
    • Top performers will be recognized at various levels including school, state, and national.
    • All Olympiad participants will receive certificates.
    • Schools with significant achievements and contributions will receive special recognition.
  1. Modifications and Cancellations:
    • Organizers reserve the right to alter the terms, conditions, or schedule of the Olympiad as needed. Participants will be informed of any changes promptly.
    • In case of cancellation, information on potential rescheduling will be provided.
  1. Acceptance of Terms:
    • Registration and participation in the Olympiad constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  1. Dispute Resolution:
    • Disputes will be resolved by the National Road Safety Mission organizing committee, whose decisions will be final.

          Schedule:

    • School Registration Deadline: April 20, 2024
    • Learning Phase: May 1 – June 14, 2024
    • Olympiad Date: June 15, 2024

These terms ensure the Olympiad is conducted fairly and effectively, aligning with the educational goals of the National Road Safety Mission for Kids and Youth.
