The National Road Safety Mission for Kids (NRSM) is an online educational initiative from Academia Axis Edtech Pvt Ltd, in partnership with the R.D. Foundation. Aimed at students from Grades 1 to 12, NRSM is designed to instill responsible road safety habits, empowering future generations to reduce traffic incidents and foster a culture of safety on India’s roads.
Completely Free Learning Program:
Accessible to all students from Grades 1 to 12, covering road safety, traffic etiquette, and hazard response through interactive online content.
Designed for Winter Break:
As a structured vacation activity, the program requires a manageable investment of 6 hours over 6 weeks, making it easy for students to complete.
Optional National Road Safety Olympiad:
An opportunity for students to test their knowledge and earn awards. Registration costs ₹150 for private school students and ₹50 for government school students, making it affordable and inclusive.
Age-Appropriate Curriculum:
Developed for different educational stages, this progressive curriculum begins with basic principles for younger students and introduces advanced concepts for older students.
Advanced Simulations for Senior Students (Grades 10-12):
Realistic, interactive video simulations help students learn from actual accident data, reinforcing the impact of poor driving decisions.
Convenient Online Format:
Students can learn at their own pace, ensuring accessibility for those in rural or remote locations across India.
Family Involvement:
The program encourages parent and family participation, helping to reinforce a culture of road safety within households and communities.

Schools in Mizoram are invited to participate in this statewide initiative.
Learning Phase: December 2024 – January 2025
A 6-week online learning period featuring interactive lessons, quizzes, and practical activities.
Final Assessment: January 18, 2025
Free assessment for all students, marking the start of National Road Safety Month.
National Road Safety Olympiad: January 19, 2025
An optional, competitive event for students, with awards and recognition for top performers.
Culmination Event: February 2025
A celebration of achievements and success stories from this year’s Winter Edition.
